Cryptography Events
The study of secure communications systems that enable only the sender and intended recipient of a message to read its contents is known as cryptography. The word “kryptos” comes from the Greek word “kryptos,” which means “hidden.” A third party has all they need to decode and read the communication if it is intercepted.
Cryptography may be classified into three categories:
- Secret Key Cryptography
- Public Key Cryptography
- Hash Functions
In the presence of malevolent third parties, known as adversaries, cryptography ensures safe communication. Encryption transforms a plaintext input into an encrypted output using an algorithm and a key (i.e., ciphertext).
‘Cryptography in everyday life’ refers to a variety of scenarios in which cryptography is used to provide a secure service, such as cash withdrawal from an ATM, Pay TV, email and file storage utilizing Pretty Good Privacy (PGP) software, secure web surfing, and the usage of a GSM mobile phone.
Encryption protects your online privacy by converting personal information into “for your eyes only” communications that are only seen by those who need them — and no one else.
On a personal level, you should ensure that your emails are sent over an encrypted connection or that each communication is encrypted.
Attending Crypto Conferences
We have a specific resource on blockchain conferences (which also include crypto-currency) whilst this page is aimed at the actual mechanics of crypto (rather than the commercial side).
A conference is a gathering of people who share a particular interest or background with the goal of meeting one another and learning about and discussing topics, ideas, and projects that are relevant to them.
You will learn from others and increase your own abilities and knowledge about your field if you attend other presentations. It’s also crucial to connect with their work, ask questions, and even follow up with a visit following the panel. In our area, networking is crucial, just as it is in every other job.
Attending events in your sector increases your chances of meeting your target prospects or influencers who should be familiar with your company and brand. You’d like people to know who you are, what you do, how you operate, and where you’re headed.
